For many reasons, I'm soo happy to see that summer has finally arrived!
There is so much I love about the Pacific Northwest, especially how green and lush the area is ("Thank you, rain!). However, I have to say the summer is my favorite season. The chance to go on long walks by the Edmonds waterfront is such a delight. It's also the place I go to get filled up with new images for my sculptures.
Another reason I'm enjoying this summer is the opportunity to share my sculptures at several art festivals. I had the chance to show my work at the Edmonds Art Festival Gallery last month. The highlight for me was be able to bring my 89 year old mom with me to the festival and to hear her exclaim "Cyndi, look there's your art!" (Photo to the right).
At the end of this month, I'm excited to be having a booth at the Bellevue Downtown Arts Market on Saturday, July 30th and Sunday, July 31st. (Booth #A-14 on 106th Ave. NE) I've had a great time creating a wide array of animals that I think you will enjoy. Hope you can drop by and say hello!
